Cure TB Mid-Project Performance Evaluation, Kyrgyz Republic 2022

USAID/Kyrgyz Republic requested a mid-project performance evaluation of the Cure TB Project to: (1) evaluate the project’s interim progress at various levels, including at healthcare system, healthcare facility, healthcare provider, and patient levels; (2) assess the metrics of the DR-TB program’s performance at Cure Tuberculosis Project-supported sites, including barriers to and facilitators of quality DR-TB service delivery; and (3) develop recommendations for improving project performance and sustaining project achievements. Additional evaluation questions examined themes of TB service sustainability, private sector engagement, TB management information system (MIS) performance, TB policy adoption, social and behavior change (SBC) communication, and sub-grantee capacity building. The audience for this Mid Project Performance Evaluation is the donor and the project itself, as well as other key TB stakeholders, including government and civil society.
