This dataset is related to the thesis titled "Laser-Induced Synthesis and Augmentation of Non-Precious Metal Electrocatalysts for Sustainable Energy Catalysis". It encompasses experimental data, including physical characterizations, assessments of electrochemical catalytic properties, and examinations of mechanisms. This dataset mainly focuses on transition metal-based electrocatalysts and their derivatives generated using pulsed laser irradiation. The study investigates materials like metal complexes, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and high entropy alloy (oxy)hydroxides, aiming to enhance their catalytic activity for electrochemical reactions such as hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) were utilized to analyze the samples' structures, compositions, and morphologies. Subsequently, electrochemical potentiostats were employed to evaluate the catalytic performance of these samples. Lastly, mechanistic studies were undertaken to elucidate the impact of pulsed laser treatment and its contribution to the enhancement of catalytic performance.
