资源简介:
Monitoring the physiological state in the Dark Fermentation of maize/grass silage using flow cytometry under ph-regulated (system A) and non-regulated conditions (system B). The study comprehends morphological observations (sporulation) and the quantification of depolarized cells using DiBAC4(3) at different time-points.
Conclusion:
Morphological observations can be useful to gain insights and improve cellular performance in mixed culture systems by identifiying sporulation stages. The use of DiBAC4(3) staining seems to be an useful indicator for cmixed microbial cultures and can potentially facilitate monitoring of their PS during complex fermentations.
