High-power tunable femtosecond laser systems offer flexible control of their central wavelength over a frequency range exceeding an octave, providing a valuable research tool for ultrafast spectroscopy and the study of nonlinear processes. Driving by a 100-watt femtosecond pump laser and combining with various nonlinear frequency conversion techniques, including optical parametric amplification (OPA), second harmonic generation (SHG) and difference frequency generation (DFG), we have achieved a high-power femtosecond laser which is tunable from the ultraviolet to the long-wave infrared. Based on OPA, this system achieves continuously tunable output from 630 to 2800 nm, with a maximum signal power of 12.5 W at 700 nm and a maximum idler power of 8.24 W at 1250 nm. And further using SHG and DFG, the shortest tunable wavelength reaches 315 nm and the longest tunable wavelength exceeds 12 μm, significantly enhancing the wavelength scalability of this laser system.
