Comparative study on lung transcriptome of high and low altitude bar-headed geese

Comparing high-altitude bar-headed geese (HA group, n = 3, labeled as HA_lung 1, HA_ lung 2, HA_ lung 3) and the low-altitude artificially reared bar-headed geese (LA group, n = 3, labeled as LA_ lung 1, LA_ lung 2, LA_ lung 3) provides an opportunity to investigate of gene expression and regulation related to their acclimation to the relatively hyperoxic environments. In this context, we used Illumina NovaSeq 6000 to generate a transcriptome dataset of lung tissues in bar-headed geese reared in both high-altitude and low-altitude conditions.
