Data from: How epithelial geometrical disorder and cilia-related pathological defects impact mucociliary clearance

Description:

This data accompanies the paper entitled Cilia beating misalignment, immotility or death pathologically affect the efficiency of mucus-clearance.

The tar archive contains a sample of the trajectories from Lattice Boltzmann Molecular Dynamics simulations of the systems investigated and presented in the manuscript. 

Trajectory files are in the .xyz format and contain both cilia and mucus trajectories for at least one beating cycle (i.e. about 45 ms). For each cilium, only the 20 beads of the "active" filament are present in the file to reduce the size of the data.

Inside the tar archive, the trajectories of each system are contained in a separate tar.gz file. The detailed content is listed below.
