The Greek Elementary School Dataset (Elementary23) is a large-scale sign language translation dataset developed by Cyprus University of Technology. It contains 29,653 pairs of Greek Sign Language (GSL) videos and their corresponding spoken Greek translations. This dataset is based on the official curriculum of Greek elementary schools, covering a wide range of subjects such as Greek language, mathematics, religious studies, and more. The dataset was created through a rigorous process, with recordings captured using high-definition cameras and performed by expert signers.
