Care3D

Care3D是由慕尼黑工业大学机器人与机器智能研究所创建的主动3D对象检测数据集，专注于真实机器人护理环境。该数据集包含两个场景，分别在德国航空航天中心和慕尼黑工业大学的geriatronics灯塔项目中捕获，总计118个全景图像和标注对象。创建过程中使用了NavVis VLX设备进行360°高分辨率扫描，确保了数据的高精度和真实性。Care3D数据集主要用于评估和开发在护理环境中运行的机器人SLAM算法，解决护理行业劳动力短缺问题，支持机器人更好地理解和适应其周围环境。

Care3D is an active 3D object detection dataset created by the Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), focusing on real-world robotic care environments. The dataset includes two scenarios captured during the Geriatronics Beacon Project at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Technical University of Munich respectively, with a total of 118 panoramic images and annotated objects. During the dataset's creation, the NavVis VLX device was used for 360° high-resolution scanning, ensuring high accuracy and authenticity of the data. The Care3D dataset is primarily intended for evaluating and developing robotic SLAM algorithms operating in care environments, addressing the labor shortage issue in the care industry and enabling robots to better understand and adapt to their surrounding environments.
