Perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) impact inflammation in lung cells and tissues

Using mouse lungs from perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) exposed mice, we examine effects of exposure to short and long chain PFAS alone or in a mixture on NLRP3 inflammasome activation and cytokine productions. Using mouse lungs from perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) exposed mice, we examine effects of exposure to PFOA on lung gene expression.
