资源简介:
Lower size limit of superconductivity is an important issue since Anderson predicted that the superconducting mechanism is not essentially valid below ~4.0 nm. Recently, S. Sarkar et al. reported that the Anderson limit did not exist in Ta nanoparticles although the superconducting transition temperature (Tc) gradually decreased by reducing the particle size. Accordingly, we are interested in investigating what the minimum size is for high-TC superconducting cuprates to keep being superconductor and how the underlying mechanism of the superconductivity is affected by the particle size especially, investigating stripes of spins and holes. As a beginning of our study, we have studied the nano-sized effect on the mother material, La2CuO4 (LCO). We are summarizing the results by using a core-shell model for a rapid publication.
