D. longicaudata venom glands without DlEPV (beneficial poxvirus)

This study aims to characterize the Diachasmimorpha longicaudta venom glands in the absence of Diachasmimorpha longicaudata Entomopoxvirus (DlEPV), a beneficial poxvirus that aids D. longicaudata in overcoming the immune system of the host insects it parasitizes. DlEPV was cleared from the D. longicaudata venom glands with RNAi, and then cleared wasps were kept in culture at the Gaelen Burke Entomology lab at the University of Georgia.
