Reviving Safflower: Evaluation of safflower genetic resources (Carthamus tinctorius) in France (2023–2024)

This record contains two datasets generated within the Reviving Safflower activities, evaluating safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) genetic resources in France in 2023–2024. The trials were led by INRAE as part of the Horizon Europe LiveSeeding project (T1.1 Dynamic Management of Plant Genetic Resources). SAFFLOWER_INRAE_2023 – Trials 2023 contains field data on plant development, flowering, morphological traits, yield, seed characteristics and germination. SAFFLOWER_INRAE_2024 – Trials 2024 contains field data on plant vigour, health, ramification, leaf characteristics and flowering.
