Reliance Jio value of investments 2020 by company

Reliance Jio, one of India's leading telecommunications provider, diversifying into the digital services sector recorded investments amounting to over 1.1 trillion Indian rupees as of June 2020. The largest share of this funding came from social media giant Facebook, resulting in a nearly ten percent stake. This was secured in part to reduce Jio's debt, while also strengthening Whatsapp's (owned by Facebook) presence in India - the American company's largest consumer base.
