Long-Term Dietary Intervention of the Hydrolyzed Feather Meal on Microbiota Composition of Adult Female Dogs

aim of our study is evaluating the effects of hydrolyzed feather meal inclusion on canine health and gut microbiota during the time points. Additionally, examine alterations in the composition of the intestinal microbiota in response to the dietary intervention, focusing on microbial diversity and specific bacterial taxa. Furthermore, assess the stability and resilience of these microbiota changes over time by comparing microbiota profiles at various time points, including pre-trial (day 0) and post-trial (day 45). Identify potential associations between changes in microbiota composition and the dogs' health parameters (e.g., body weight, body condition score) to elucidate microbial markers of dietary impact.
