Transplant arteriosclerosis is a major limitation to long-term survival of patients with solid organ transplantation. Although lymphatic vessels have been recently reported to possess organ-specific features in allograft transplantation, the relationship between lymphangiogensis and transplant arteriosclerosis remains unknown.
