The ADNP-15 dataset is an open-source pathological dataset targeting neuronal plaques in whole-slide human brain images, designed for pathological image segmentation of Alzheimer's disease. Provided by the French National Brain Bank, this dataset comprises prefrontal cortical tissue samples from 15 Alzheimer's disease patients, which were stained with the AT8 antibody. It contains 4,000 precisely manually annotated neuronal plaques, serving as a benchmark for model training and evaluation. This dataset was developed to address core challenges in Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and pathological analysis, such as morphological and topological variations of lesions and discrepancies in staining protocols.
