Rafflesia is a unique plant species that produces the largest flower in the world. It has highly reduced vegetative parts and exist as a single flower. The development from from its bud to flower takes up to nine months, but the flower blooms only for a week before it dies. This project goal is to understand its floral development and senescence through transcriptomes of their flower stages
