The common cutworm (CCW) is one of the most serious pests of soybean (Glycine max). In the previous report, QTL analysis of CCW resistance using a recombinant inbred line derived from a cross between a susceptible cultivar Fukuyutaka and resistant cultivar Himeshirazu identified resistance QTLs. To reveal sequence variation between Fukuyutaka and Himeshirazu, the whole genome re-equencing was performed.
