Municipal libraries of Bologna

The dataset sets out the list of municipal libraries in Bologna with their structural and service characteristics, access channels and location. Municipal libraries are divided into 'Libraries of public reading' and 'Libraries of research and conservation'. The Libraries Sector It was set up on 1 January 2021 by the Municipality of Bologna to manage and coordinate municipal libraries in the neighbourhoods. The new Sector took the place of the Libraries Institution, active from 2008 to 31 December 2020.
