Long-term oil production and demand outlook in the UK 2025-2050

The United Kingdom is forecast to produce some 30.6 million metric tons of crude oil in 2025. By 2050, this figure is expected to fall to five million metric tons. According to the CCC Balanced Net Zero Pathway reference scenario, that year could see oil products' demand reach 13.5 million metric tons of oil equivalent, which would be around twice the projected output volume.
