Experimental Surface Roughness Dataset for CNC End Milling of Straight Segments

This experimental dataset contains 45 contact surface profilograms acquired from 15 straight segments produced by CNC end milling of St3ps steel (DSTU 2651:2005), comprising 168,153 measured samples. The package includes measured and Gaussian-filtered profiles, programmed feed and spindle-speed values, tool and workpiece metadata, calculated Ra, Rq, Rp, Rv, Rt and Rz values, spatial FFT results, interactive HTML viewers, and reproducibility scripts. Constant conditions included a 1.5 mm cutting depth and allowance, 5 mm cutting width, and a 12 mm four-tooth P6M5 end mill with TiAlCrN coating. Two documented terminal measurement artifacts were removed. Derived parameters are reported as research values because complete traceable calibration and stylus-tip metadata are unavailable.
