2009 Fraser Canyon Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) Survey Processed Data Archive

This dataset is processed and refined Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected in 2009 through the Fraser Canyons. Data were collected from inflatable rafts with a 600 kHz and 1200 kHz ADCP mounted to either side of the boat. Surveys were collected in a Lagrangian orientation, in cross sections, and in a zigzag boat pattern. Included are the raw data, the processed data, and the processing code as well as metadata files for interpreting the results. This data can be used to understand flow velocity, bedrock erosion, sediment transport, fish migration, and much more through the Fraser Canyons.
