MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING: INTERNET PLATFORMS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.

This paper examines the role of modern technologies in foreign language learning, focusing on internet platforms, mobile applications, and artificial intelligence (AI). Using a qualitative case study approach, the study analyzes web-based tools such as Quizlet and Flashcard Exchange, mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) applications like Flashcard Deluxe, and AI-powered tools including ChatGPT. The research explores how these technologies enhance learner engagement, provide personalized and interactive learning experiences, and improve vocabulary retention and communication skills. Challenges such as reliance on internet access and digital literacy requirements are also discussed. The findings highlight the practical benefits of incorporating modern technologies into language learning, offering student-centered recommendations for maximizing their effectiveness.
