An Ensemble Kalman Filter with Rescaling Disaggregation for Assimilating Terrestrial Water Storage into Hydrological Models: Outputs of Data Assimilation experiments
收藏资源简介:
General description. This dataset contains the result of 3 GRACE Terrestrial Water Storage (TWS) Data Assimilation (DA) experiments. These experiments were performed to compare the performance of a classical EnKF implementation with that of a revised TWS disaggregation method (EnKF-R). More details on the experiment, methodological approach and results can be found in the article indicated below [Retegui-Schiettekatte et al., 2025]. Content Main data This dataset contains the results of the following experiments: GRACE TWS DA with EnKF in the Murray-Darling basin (no localization). GRACE TWS DA with EnKF in the Murray-Darling basin. GRACE TWS DA with EnKF-R in the Murray-Darling basin. Synthetic TWS DA with EnKF in the Murray-Darling basin. Synthetic TWS DA with EnKF-R in the Murray-Darling basin. GRACE TWS DA with EnKF in the Brahmaputra River basin. GRACE TWS DA with EnKF-R in the Brahmaputra River basin. For each experiment, the time series of each of the vertical water storage compartments are presented. All the time series are averaged over sub-basins and over the ensemble. See more details on sub-basins and ensemble perturbation approach in the paper. Additional content To ease the interpretation and visualization of the results, an example Matlab script has been included. Information on the directory structure, file naming, file header and variables is included at the end of the README.txt file.
