Anti-inflammatory Rat Ear Data Graphtophylum Pictum L Griff

Irritant contact dermatitis (ICD) is an inflammatorya inflammatory skin disease, happened about 20% population worldwide and mostly in occupational settings, that may lead to lower quality of life and job loss. Yet, gel corticosteroid as an ICD treatment has concerning adverse effects. Graptophyllum pictum (L.) Griff or daun ungu is a common medical plant in Indonesia that has been studied to possess many promising medical properties, including anti-inflammation, and thus serves as a promising novel topical anti-inflammatory drug to treat ICD. This in vivo study aims to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of the gel Graptophyllum pictum (L.) Griff (GPG) extract in a xylene-induced rat-ear edema model.
