资源简介:
This dataset supports a study on the effects of variable organic matter stoichiometry on the biological drawdown of CO2 in the Northwest European shelf seas. The study integrates extracellular release (ER) of carbon-enriched organic matter and preferential remineralization (PR) of organic nitrogen and phosphorus into the SCHISM-ECOSMO-CO2 model system. It quantifies the regional impacts of these processes on organic matter cycling and air-sea CO2 exchange, emphasizing the importance of incorporating variable stoichiometry in biogeochemical models.
All data used to create the figures in the manuscript are included. The data is provided as numpy arrays and organized by the category of the corresponding results for clarity and ease of use.
