This dataset contains the following files 1.- interaction_coefficients_control_climate.csv ; Description: Values of interaction strength for the ten species evaluated under control climate conditions (See Table 1 main text for species code). 2.- interaction_coefficients_drought.csv ; Description: Values of interaction strength for the ten species evaluated under experimental drought conditions (See Table 1 main text for species code). 3.- species_vital_rates_control_climate.csv ; Description: Values per species of seed production in the absence of interactions (lambda), seed germination rates and seed soil survival rates under control climate conditions. 4.- species_vital_rates_drought.csv ; Description: Values per species of seed production in the absence of interactions (lambda), seed germination rates, and seed soil survival rates under drought conditions. 5.- predicted_coexistence_functioning_control_conditions.xlsx ; Description: Values of pairwise niche and fitness differences between species and their predicted functioning for the three main functions evaluated (Biomass production, Litter decomposition, and nitrogen soil availability) under control climatic conditions. 6.- predicted_coexistence_functioning_drought.xlsx ; Description: Values of pairwise niche and fitness differences between species and their predicted functioning for the three main functions evaluated (Biomass production, Litter decomposition, and nitrogen soil availability) under experimental drought conditions.
