On 11 February 2026 at 00:00, a flood event was forecast to hit the Bordeaux region, the Charente river basin and the Dronne river basin, France. The event was forecast and was increasing, with damage expected to affect buildings, infrastructure, transport networks and agriculture. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide flood extent and damage assessment emergency mapping.
