资源简介:
In recent years, it has been reported that preoperative professional oral care for patients undergoing surgery with general anesthesia can help prevent postoperative infections. Between receiving professional oral care at a dental clinic and undergoing surgery, it is necessary to keep the oral cavity as clean as possible through self-care. A 0.3% cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) spray does not need to be spit out, and may be considered a handy self-care product. However, there are no reports of changes in oral bacterial flora with the intervention of 0.3% CPC spray. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine whether the use of CPC spray affects oral bacterial flora after professional oral care (scaling and professional mechanical tooth cleaning) in adult volunteers, by analyzing 16S rRNA bacterial flora using saliva and tongue coat samples.
