Soil DNA was extracted using FastDNA Soil Kit and purified using the TIANprep Mini Plasmid Kit to concentrate the plasmid metagenome. Subsequently, plasmidome DNA was digested using ATP-dependant Plasmid safe DNase, and sequenced to investigate the antibiotic resistance genes, heavy metal resistance genes on plasmids.
