The dataset was generated through a series of experiments to prepare and analyze the mechanical properties of bionic carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites modeled after eagle feather structures. The process began with the treatment of short carbon fibers using a liquid-phase oxidation method to improve wettability and bonding strength with the epoxy resin matrix. Following this, composites with varying carbon fiber content (0.1 wt.%, 0.2 wt.%, 0.3 wt.%, and 0.4 wt.%) were prepared and tested for tensile strength and impact toughness. The preparation process involved mixing, stirring, and solidifying the resin with carbon fibers at specific temperatures. The mechanical properties were evaluated using a universal tensile tester and an impact testing machine, with fracture morphologies observed through scanning electron microscopy.
