Suleiman Farhat to Jiryes Farhat, 28 July 1933

The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. In this letter Suleiman Farhat writes to his father Jiryes describing his desire to sell his shop soon and move back to the 'homeland' to join his family there. At this point in time Katrina Sa'ade had just arrived in Ramallah with her and Suleiman's children George, Fred and Mary where they were living with the Farhat family. Suleiman was still living and working in California with Julia Kabande (Katrina's daughter from her first marriage).These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
