This dataset consists of 16S and 18S rRNA gene sequences obtained using the Illumina MiSeq platform. DNA for sequencing was isolated from 0.25g surface sediment (top 1cm) samples collected at six stations in the vicinity of a rainbow trout farm (operational between 1987-2008) adjacent to Havero Island, Archipelago Sea, Baltic Sea.
