We conducted DNA-seq analysis of pseudostem (Ps), ovaries (Ov) and lemma and palea (Lp) samples from the four endophyte infected (Ep) tall fescue plants. Using the sequencing data we then quantified DNA-seq reads mapping to the E. coenophiala genome relative to total DNA-seq reads in each sample to estimate relative endophyte biomass in each plant sample.
