Environmental antibiotic resistant strain can act as a vehicle for the transfer of ARGs and therefore understanding antibiotic resistance in environment is very important. The goal of the study was to isolate antibiotic resistant strain from aquatic nich to study the resistome of the isolate and to understand mechanisms involved in resistance.
