This dataset contains supporting data for the doctoral thesis entitled "Cross-scale Contactless Manipulation of Soft Materials and Liquids".The research investigates mechanisms for manipulating liquids and soft matter without physical contact, across micro- to macro-scales. The dataset consists primarily of experimental recordings that directly support the thesis findings. These data illustrate key physical principles underlying acoustic, magnetic, and interfacial manipulation, with particular focus on droplet dynamics and soft-material deformation.The dataset includes video recordings of experiments involving the contactless actuation of droplets and programmable soft materials using externally applied physical fields developed during the PhD study. These videos document phenomena essential for deciphering the underlying mechanisms of physical-field–matter interactions, as well as their potential applications in biomedical and soft robotic systems.
