Supplemental Figure S1. Isolated perfused lung parameters.

Wild type (WT) and carbonic anhydrase IX knockout (CA IX KO) mice were infected with ExoY+ for 48-hours, followed by isolation of the heart and lungs in bloc. The lungs were suspended in a humidified chamber and perfused with physiological buffer at increasing flow rates. Pulmonary artery pressure (Pa), pulmonary venous pressure (Pv), lung weight gain, double occlusion pressure (Pdo), pre-capillary (pre-cap) resistance, and post capillary (post-cap) resistance were measured. WT and CA IX KO mice did not differ in their Pa, Pv, lung weight gain, Pdo, pre-cap resistance, and post-cap resistance during the isolated perfused lung experiments. Data represents mean + SD.
