<p>The Survey of Federal Employees is the Office of Personnel Management's first major survey of the work force since 1983. The questionnaire was designed to provide policy-makers with information that was not available from existing sources. Questions covered various personnel areas such as employee characteristics, employees' satisfaction with their jobs, supervisors, and organizations, performance management, training, work schedule arrangements, leave benefits, and dependent care responsibilities and the ways employees fulfill these responsibilities.
