Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired off the coast of the Baja California Peninsula and along the Northern East Pacific Rise (EPR) during the Melville expedition PANR01MV (1997)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2000 Multibeam Sonar system during Melville expedition PANR01MV conducted in 1997 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Langmuir). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Swath Bathymetry data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 1. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Constraints on EPR Magmatism Through Studies of the North Orozco Region and PANORAMA01, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE95-30470, OCE96-26934, and OCE96-26973.
