DpgMedia2019

DpgMedia2019 is a news dataset developed by Dutch DPG Media, focusing on detecting partisanship in news articles. The dataset contains over 100,000 articles, 776 of which were annotated via crowdsourcing on an internal survey platform. It is divided into two subsets: one subset is annotated based on the partisan stance of the publishing media outlet, and the other is annotated by readers after they have read the articles. The purpose of creating this dataset is to assist content analysis systems in identifying and addressing partisan news, especially against the backdrop of widespread global public opposition to media partisanship.
