Dataset associated to the manuscript entitled "Improving Ni-agromining with Mediterranean hyperaccumulators: the role of fertilisation and co-cropping with legumes"

Dataset of a greenhouse study on the effect of different nitrogen sources on the efficiency of nickel agromining with two hyperaccumulators. Three files are included: "readme.txt" is a file where we explain the meaning of each column (and in which units is expressed) in each of the other two files. "plant_data.csv" is a table providing the data on different parameters measured in the plants grown in the agromining experiment (shoot and root biomass, shoot concentrations of different elements, and natural abundance of 15N in shoots and roots...). "soil_data.csv" is a table describing the chemical (pH, cation exchange capacity and concentrations (pseudototal, exchangeable or DTPA-extractable) of different chemical elements) and microbiological (activities of several soil enzymes, abundance of genes related to the N-cycle) in the soil samples.
