Diosmin Attenuated UUO-induced Renal Fibrosis.

As an irreversible pathological process, renal interstitial fibrosis has not been effectively treated at present. Diosmin is a glycosylated polyphenolic flavonoid with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antifibrotic effects. However, its role in chronic kidney injury has not been fully elucidated. The aim of this study was to explore the effects and mechanisms of Diosmin on ferroptosis and fibrosis in chronic kidney disease.
