#########################
#### Synthetic river flow videos for evaluating image-based velocimetry methods ####
##########################
# Year : 2022
# Authors : G.Bodart (guillaume.bodart@inrae.fr), J.Le Coz (jerome.lecoz@inrae.fr), M.Jodeau (magali.jodeau@edf.fr), A.Hauet (alexandre.hauet@edf.fr)
######################
## This file describes the data attached to the article
###################### ### 00_videos ### - This folder contains the synthetic videos generated with the proposed method, and used in the case studies. - Files "mesh_30fps_upresX.mp4" were rendered with the "mesh-view": opaque surface with diffuse light.
- Files "video_30fps_upres4_XXXX.mp4" were rendered with various optical aspects. ### 01_ref_vel ### - This folder contains the reference velocities extracted from simulation, interpolated on a regular grid.
- For convenience, velocities were transformed to displacements in pixels between two consecutive frames (@30fps).

- The file ref_vel0000.dat corresponds to the reference displacements in pixels between the first and second frames, and so on...
- /!\ Image coordinate are used thus the point (0,0) is located on top left corner. This means, ni-i <-> y, x <-> j, -di <-> dy, dj <-> dx ### 02_param_files ### - Contains camera information which can be used to convert reference data from image coordinate space to world coordinate space.
- An orthographic camera was placed at nadir to render the images, thus no perspective correction is needed. - Camera
- location : position of the camera (XYZ)
- resolution : size of a pixel in meters
- xy0 : position of the image bottom left corner in meters
- image size : size of the image
- framerate : framerate of the camera
