Orthostatic diastolic blood pressure variability links autonomic regulation to recurrence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo

Retrospective observational clinical study data. We investigated diastolic blood pressure variability during the early phase of orthostatic challenge as an index of dynamic autonomic regulation. In this study, exaggerated orthostatic diastolic blood pressure variability was associated with a higher likelihood of subsequent BPPV recurrence, independent of conventional cardiovascular risk factors.
