Each tree was tested to determine if the distribution branch segment lengths (rows 2-5) and diameters (rows 6-9) were better fit by an exponential model or a power-law model (highlighted in bold). In all cases, length distributions were better fit by an exponential model. In two of four cases the diameter distributions better fit by a power law, and the other two an exponential. The relative likelihood is given in column 3. Columns 4 and 5 represent the size corrected Akaike’s information criterion score for the power law and exponential models respectively, followed by the sample size in column 6.
