Transcriptomes of induced neural cells of ascidian embryos

We performed RNA-sequencing for screening Zic-r.a targets in neural cells of ascidian tailbud embryos. Neural cells were induced by upregulation of Zic-r.b activity and downregulation of activities of Foxa.a, Foxd, Neurog, and Erk signaling, and used as a reference specimen. Cells in which an antisense morpholino oligonucleotide for Zic-r.a was additionally introduced were used for identifying Zic-r.a targets.
