Barcode Suzhou (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory| CSHA DNA Learning Center)

Cold Spring Harbor Asia DNA Learning Center (CSHA DNALC) has established Barcode Suzhou, an offshoot of the original DNALC barcoding program. We offer students and members of the community in and around Suzhou, China a chance to explore the world around them through DNA barcoding. Our camps and community-based programs are currently focused on creating a molecular catalog of the native plants of Suzhou, as well as collaboration with an international group of taxonomists to contribute data to agricultural pest control research. Students enrolled in our independent study program are encouraged to develop their own areas of interest.
