Descriptive statistics

Descriptive statistics (N=number of individuals, mean, variance, sd=standard deviation, range, CV=coefficient of variation) of voluntary wheel running (in revolutions per day) for four control lines (linetype=C) and four selected lines (linetype=HR) as a whole and for the subset of individuals that were selected for reproduction in each generation. These statistics were used to calculate the selection differential (s), the standardized selection differential (s’), the cumulative standardized selection differential (acc s’), the average of the four control lines at each generation (Mean controls), and the selective gain relative to the average of the four control lines at each generation (gain vs. control).
