Simple download service (Atom) of the dataset: Wind farms in the department of Haute-Vienne

A wind farm is composed of one or more wind turbines producing electricity. A park requires one or more building permits and is subject to an administrative procedure, conducted in DDT. A park can only have one operator.The provisions of the Grenelle Environment require the construction of wind farms: — a minimum of 5 machines for installations whose application for a building permit was submitted after the publication of Law 2010-788 of 12/07/2010;- a wind turbine of less than 30 metres and less than 250 kW.The definition of wind farm has no administrative or regulatory basis. It is a purely abstract class corresponding to an aggregate of wind turbines. The polygonal geometry of a wind farm is only a proposed artifice for mapping wind turbines on a small scale. A wind farm is therefore represented by arbitrary boundaries and does not correspond to any administrative or physical hold on the ground.
