The response of AD microbiome during organic load rate (OLR) shock was monitored using an intensive sampling scheme. Replicated anaerobic reactors fed with sewage sludge were subjected to glycerol-based OLR shock (from 2 to 10 g COD L-1 d-1). Several days before and after the OLR shock, the reactors were monitored 2 or 4 times per day. Bacteria and Archaea populations were monitored by 16S rRNA massive sequencing.
